Use Case
For tattoo artists and clients who have a flash design or reference sketch and want bold, clean vector outlines saved as a scalable SVG for stencils, prints, or thermal printers.

A tattoo stencil lives or dies on clean, bold linework — the outline has to stay crisp whether it's printed wallet-sized or poster-sized — and that's exactly what a vector SVG guarantees. This tool traces your design entirely in your browser, so personal or unreleased flash art is never uploaded. To get the bold stencil look we default to Cartoon Mode, which quantizes colors, smooths noise, and boosts contrast so only the strongest edges survive, paired with a low numColors of 2 for a decisive black-and-white outline. A raised threshold drops mid-tones and shading so you're left with clean contours, and a higher pathomit clears the speckle that scanned designs carry. Tight ltres and qtres keep the linework flowing smoothly. The output is a sharp, scalable SVG you can size to the placement, print to a thermal stencil printer, or refine in any editor. Raise threshold for a minimal outline.
