Why it's free
A tool that costs nothing, shows no ads, and never touches your files sounds too good to be true. Here's the honest reason it isn't.
There's no server to pay for
Every tool runs entirely inside your browser, on your own device. There's no cloud GPU bill and no infrastructure to maintain — so keeping it free is genuinely affordable for one person.
Your images never leave your device
Nothing is uploaded. Your photos and creative work are never sent to a server, never stored, and never sold or used to train anyone's AI. What you make here stays yours.
No ads, no watermarks, no account
Right now there are no ads interrupting you, no watermarks stamped on your work, and no sign-up wall. Just the tools.
Built by one person, for artists
Pixshift is made by a single developer who got tired of tools that overcharge, over-advertise, and quietly harvest people's work. It exists to be the honest alternative.
An honest note
For now, Pixshift stays free with no ads because hosting it costs little and I can cover it myself alongside my day job.
If that ever changes — if keeping it running starts to cost more than one person can quietly absorb — I'll find the least annoying way to sustain it, and I'll tell you exactly why before anything changes. No surprises, and never at the expense of your privacy.
