Vinyl cutters drag a blade along vector contours, so the only thing that matters is clean, closed paths with no stray islands to weed out. This converter produces exactly that, running locally in your browser so your decal designs never get uploaded. For cut-ready vinyl we default numColors to 2, turning the image into a single decisive cut shape rather than a stack of overlapping tones the blade can't interpret. A high pathomit is doing heavy lifting here: it deletes the tiny floating fragments that make weeding miserable, leaving you a decal you can pick clean in seconds. Tight ltres and qtres keep both straight edges and curves smooth so the blade traces a continuous, professional-looking contour. The output drops straight into Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio, or your Roland workflow. For multi-color layered decals, raise numColors so each vinyl color lands on its own path; for classic single-color lettering and silhouettes, the two-color default gives you a flawless cut every time.
