WebP is everywhere on the modern web, but it is still a raster format — it pixelates when scaled and can't be cleanly recolored. This tool reads your WebP directly in the browser and traces it into a true SVG, with no upload, so even client assets stay private. WebP files often hold either flat UI graphics or compressed photos, so we ship a balanced preset: numColors at 16 to preserve color variety without exploding the path count, a low pathomit so genuine small details survive, and tight ltres and qtres so lines and curves both trace accurately. From there you steer it — drop numColors toward 4-8 for a flat icon so it snaps to clean shapes, or raise it for a detailed WebP photo. The resulting SVG scales infinitely and opens in Figma, Illustrator, or Inkscape for recoloring. Because the tracing runs locally, your originals never leave your device.
