For rescuing photos that came out soft or slightly out of focus, where you want genuine detail back rather than a fake-looking sharpen.
Out-of-focus and motion-softened photos lose high-frequency detail, and a basic sharpen can't bring it back — it just amplifies edges and noise. This unblur tool uses Richardson–Lucy deconvolution, which models the blur as a kernel and iteratively inverts it, so genuine detail is reconstructed rather than faked. An edge-aware denoise pass then keeps smooth areas clean so the recovered detail doesn't come with grain. It all runs locally in your browser at full resolution — nothing is uploaded — with a live before/after preview and sliders to dial in how aggressive the deblur is. The 'Heavy blur' preset pushes the deconvolution harder for badly blurred shots, while 'Soft photo' is gentler for images that are only slightly off. For the toughest cases, an optional AI Restore pass uses a learned restoration model and then resamples to your original size. Note that no tool can invent detail a camera never captured, so a severely blurred photo has limits — but for typical softness the improvement is clear and natural-looking.
