For anyone who wants to remove a photobomber, a stranger, a sign, or an unwanted object from a photo without sending the picture to a cloud service.
Removing something from a photo well isn't about smearing colour over it — that leaves an obvious blurry ghost. This Magic Eraser uses PatchMatch content-aware fill, the same family of algorithm behind Photoshop's Content-Aware Fill: instead of blurring the hole, it finds real texture patches elsewhere in the image and quilts them into the gap, so grass stays grass, sky stays sky and a brick wall keeps its bricks. You brush over what you want gone (with an adjustable brush and an eraser to fix the mask), click Remove, and the fill runs in a Web Worker so the page never freezes. It works entirely on your device — the image is never uploaded, there's no watermark, and the result downloads at full resolution as a PNG. Because it reconstructs from the surrounding image, it shines on simple or repetitive backgrounds (grass, sand, sky, walls, water) and is less reliable when unique detail was hidden directly behind the subject. For those cases you can remove in stages, re-brush, and undo/redo between passes. A before/after compare lets you check the result against the original before you download.
